Jill Bolte Taylor’s stroke of insight
August 4, 2009

Jill Bolte Taylor got a research opportunity few brain scientists
would wish for:
She had a massive stroke, and watched as her brain functions
– motion, speech, self-awareness — shut down one by one.
An astonishing story.

This is another great TED lecture which I thought I’d pass on.
Truly, there are times I think when the internet has such a wonderful
ability to connect and share experiences, and to reflect on them
in a meaningful way. This is one of those fascinating moments
that leave you afterwards thinking, and moved.
